Take a look at the history of the Bat-suit, well, the most-significant according to Bennjamin Andrew Moore. Check out the various iterations of the Bat-suit from TV, Comics, Games, Theater and Movie. So if you plan to cosplay the Dark Knight, this would be a good reference :)
